Caitlin's Senior Portraits

I have been cranking out the senior portraits lately here at the studio. I wish I had time to post one of everyone! Caitlin is ummm..... unbelievable in front of the camera. This girl seriously needs to be a model. All she wanted was a field and some water, check! Plain, simple, organic, vintage... my kind of girl! 

Annalea's Senior Portraits

Oh my my my... SOMEBODY PINCH ME!!! That is what I was thinking while photographing Annalea. She is a senior at Central High this year and plans on attending college at LSU to study interior design. First we did a few images in the studio, we then went out to some family property and found the backend of an old truck, which I might add went perfect with her dress, a snake that I almost stepped on, we then drove around and found this abandoned house, an old barn, and a field of grass where we had to dodge the cows. All in all is was a fun filled day of my dreams!!! All of Annalea's outfits came from Scarlet in Little Rock. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!

Sunrise Senior

Yep, you read that right... Sunrise!!! We started with Kelly's senior portraits at 7:00 A.M. The sunlight is sooooo AMAZING when it first starts peaking out. I photographed Kelly at her home, where there are fields, a pond, old cabin, and lots of other goodies to photograph. We also went to Conway to a beautiful church and then on to her grandparents home so we could get a few images with the piano. Oh, and we can't for the "fungo wagon," that was a blast. Kelly is such a sweet girl with such a bright future ahead. She plans on attending college at OBU in the fall. Good Luck Kelly!!! I had soooooo much fun photographing your senior portraits!!!

New Website!!!

Here is an image from Kelly's senior portrait session. This car (aka "Fungo Wagon") was driven by Kelly's uncle in college. Don't you know he was the coolest kid on campus! I will post more of these a little later. 

Meagan and Todd

I photographed Meagan and Todd's engagements last week and wanted to share a few. As many of you know Meagan worked here at the studio for almost 2 years. She is now a teacher and also the dance coach at the Junior High. We went out to Todd's grandparents house where we found lots of amazing props. One of those being a 1960 model bicycle. Chancy came with me to be my assistant. We had a blast, and I can't wait for the wedding. 

This next one is Chancy's image. I am so proud of him. :)

 

Cliff

I wanted to post of few of the images from a recent session I photographed for Saline County Lifestyles Magazine. This is Cliff Lee, the 2008 Cy Young Award Winner. The magazine wrote a great article on Cliff about how he went from Benton to the Big Leagues. I was really excited to get to photograph him with his award. We are cheering for you Cliff, GOOD LUCK!!!

Erin & Chad 03.07.09

Here is a sneak peak of Erin and Chad's wedding from last weekend. It was such an amazing day, and I am so happy you guys invited me to be a part. I haven't even had a chance to go through half of the images and I am already having a hard time narrowing down. Enjoy...  

Erin's Bridals

I have been dying to post Erin's bridal portraits for a while now. I am absolutely in love with this dress, the jewelry, the vail, and of course the bride. Erin and Chad are getting married tomorrow and I am super pumped about this wedding. We have a lot of really unique ideas in store. Some of the ideas... swords, cigarettes, sun glasses, an old sheet, and a field of cows. Stay tuned to see the wedding images.

What a week!

Ok so this blog post is defiantly not the most inventive, but it is how my week has gone. I have felt a little sickly the past 3 days. The stomach bug came to visit my house, and let me tell you it was not fun. I have been in the bed or on the couch feeling sorry for myself thinking about all the work I have waiting on me at the studio. If you have called the studio in the past few days I PROMISE I will return your call on Monday morning. I thought this image of baby girl Kaitlin described my week perfectly. This was the end of her session and she totally done!!! 

 

Braden and Kristen

Braden and Kristen were married back in January in Victoria, TX.It was such a great day, the weather was absolutely gorgeous! They even had bag pippers!

Braden and Chancy are cousins so I did not take an assistant with me to the wedding. Little did Chancy know he was my assistant. I gave him one of my cameras to play with and it turned him into a new person. He was so into photographing this wedding is was funny to watch. On our 9 hour drive home he talked about how much fun he had and how he wanted to learn how to use the camera for real. I have been giving him lessons, he even has homework and  is about to have his first test! If he is going to learn I want him to learn the way I learned, all manual all the time. I don't want to have any influence on what type of image he should or should not photograph. The most important thing is for Chancy to develop his own style. Now he is not going to quit his day job, but he might start photographing weddings with me in the future. 

This is only a few of what I would like to post. I am only posting one dancing image... I just don't want to embarrass anyone too much. They are funny!!! Enjoy your peak!!!
